Alberto Puerto Music and Alberto Puerto Guitar School were founded in 2021 by Alberto Puerto and Gined Lopez Ganem. We wanted to bring high quality musical education to our area and to create musical products and events of the highest caliber. Since we were both educators most of our careers, we were already proud of the achievements of our students and were excited to make our own story just as successful. After our first two years as an active studio, other friends asked us about how they could attain similar recognition and visibility, and we decided to start GG Art Space, a project that would allow us to collaborate with other disciplines and to advance the work of other artists in South Florida by creating artistic products together. Our company has been featured in the cultural publication The New Tropic, VoyageMIA Magazine, and Revista Nagari cultural magazine. We have been sponsored by Miami Dade County Cultural Affairs, the Centro Cultural Español, (Spanish Cultural Center) and Bill Glez Guitars. In 2023, we were chosen by the National Performance Network as a fiscally sponsored project. We are excited to continue to grow in our efforts to create cultural collaborations in the Miami area and beyond.
