On April 26, 2025, our students joined the New World School of the Arts Guitar Fest with Dr. Koh Kazama, performing in the NWSA Guitar Ensemble and sharing the stage with peers. Advanced students also played for guest artist Dr. Isaac Bustos, gaining invaluable masterclass experience.

About the event
Students from Alberto Puerto Music participated in the 2025 New World School of the Arts Guitar Fest, hosted by Dr. Koh Kazama. The festival brought together young guitarists for a day of ensemble collaboration, artistic growth, and inspiration.
Our students integrated into the NWSA Guitar Ensemble, experiencing the challenge and reward of performing in a larger group setting. In addition, several advanced students had the opportunity to perform for guest artist Dr. Isaac Bustos in a masterclass environment, receiving valuable feedback from one of today’s leading concert guitarists.
The festival provided students with an enriching educational and musical experience, strengthening their ensemble skills, broadening their artistic perspectives, and connecting them with the wider classical guitar community in South Florida.
